Building/Maint. Report

a. |
The
storage room is coming along great. Jim got the materials
donated and we will put a sign up for them. Larry Mondor
will do the electrical portion. The cost due to the
donations has dropped significantly. It is now estimated at
$1500.00.

The hired Zamboni drivers are now
required to a checklist during their shift. They are
working and getting paid they need to continue working
in-between doing the ice. |

V.
Committee Reports

a. |
St.
Croix Valley Snipers - All the prizes are ready and will be
delivered. Justin is currently working on obtaining a bond
for the team. It was suggested that he try to find 5 people
for 5K each rather than one for 25K
|

b. |
Girls co-op Three people applied for the girls co-op
opening. Cherie motioned to approve Dave Wolner to become
the new co-op rep. 2nd John. |

VI.
New Business

a. |
Bantams had an issue regarding diversity and a player. John
M. is trying to obtain a speaker to come and talk to the
entire association regarding diversity. The Amery player is
being disciplined. John and Randy will work with the Amery
board to insure that the no tolerance rules are followed and
are not tolerated. We would like to also get WAHA involved
to better educate the entire district |

Ref
Status So far this year has been good. John keeps track
of how many games the youth ref and he would like to obtain
additional adult refs. He currently has 23 rostered
officials 9 adults that are level 3, 6 that are level 2,
and the rest are level 1 |

Do
we allow non-members to use the outdoor rink? How would we
patrol this? We would be liable for injuries for
non-members, members would fall under the coverage of USA
Hockey |

d. |
Legion pull tabs are no longer an option. They will donate
$1000.00. They are also willing to allow us to do meat
raffles every 4th Friday. We feel this is not a
viable option |
