SYHA Board
Meeting
August meeting
held July 26, 2006 7 PM
Meeting called to order by
John Gauper
Present: John
Gauper, Cherie Link, Dan Gilkerson, Kris Wroblewski, Steve Hartke,
Deb Quaderer, Michelle Manz, Justin Lambert
Motion made to
accept minutes by Justin L 2nd Kris W
Treasurers
report presented Motion made by Cherie L to accept treasurers report
2nd by Steve.
Dan
will attend the training put on by R & R and if necessary attend the
WIAMA Fall Fire Up motion made by Justin 2nd by Deb to
cover expenses of travel.
Pictures will
be scheduled for the 2nd week of December by Cherie.
Dan
will check into additional vending machine options.
Cherie
will check into arena signage and Michelle will contact the
DOT to see about directionals like the Float Rite Amphitheater
signs.
Golf
Tournament Dan, Michelle & Cherie will set up a bar with
a puck shooting game. John will set up the rules, meal,
prizes, etc. Dan will get a poster to Bristol Ridge and
re-e-mail the association noting the 1st, 2nd,
& 3rd place prize are tickets to a Wild game. Brett
will print up 200 FREE Mulligan tickets with the logo valued at $5
(1 Good for the front nine and 1 for the back nine).
SYHA Girls
Program We do not have the numbers to field our own team. New
Richmond has offered our girls (and Amery) can play with their team,
registration will still be paid to us and it will be a joined team
(not Tigers).
Michelle
will check into the Diners Club book option.
Cherie
will chair the committee for Somerset Hockey advertising opportunity
and hotel discounts. Deb, Steve, Dan, & Justin will assist in
contacting businesses. We will contact Northern Sign Solutions for
assistance.
Tentative
registration dates would Thursday, September 28 & Tuesday October 3.
Fall clinic would be October 9 & 11. Try-outs would be October 13 &
14 with calls made Sunday the 14th. Practice would begin
the week of October 23. The Coaches applications must be in by
September 15 and the clinic is for the week of October 16.
Kris & Deb
will start coordinating volunteer hours.
