IV.
Building/Maint. Report
a.
Zamboni has been repaired. A piece of glass broke and had
been repaired. We do need to order some more replacement glass.
Dan will order to be sure its here prior to tournaments. The office
may need a ballast. Dan B. has donated shelving. Womens restrooms
need some attention, stalls are loose and toilet tanks are cracked.

Committee Reports
a.
Snipers tickets are printed for registration, they sell for
$5 each.
b.
Town and Village Meetings – The village went very well. The
township meeting was less successful however, they still may do
something to help. They are meeting together on the 24th.
We should also present to the elementary school to have the kids
come once a month.
VI.
New business
a.
Cahill Studios – Katie came to present their services.
Motion to accept Cahill as the photographer for this season by Dan –
2nd Justin
b.
Registration nights – Who can attend and help out , Gerry,
Deb, Cherie, Jim, John. We also need two computers and printers for
the USA Hockey Registration. The buffalo style jerseys are no
longer available. SYHA is ordering new jerseys, we will ask members
to find sponsors to offset the cost of jerseys. They will be rented
to the members. Motion to approve Justin – 2nd Jim.
c.
Mike Connor Tribute at the rink. WE would like to frame the
article inducting him into the hall of fame with a photo. Justin
will follow up on this.
d.
We need to hire a handy man for the handicap ramp. John G
will take care of.
e.
Signs – Justin ahs contacted all the local businesses,
however, Randy and Dan will stop by each of them as well.
f.
Registration Marketing – Backpack mail has been sent out in
Somerset, St. Annes, and Osceola, Dan will also run ads in
newspaper.
g.
Julia Ivana Young form New Richmond News wants to do an
article about SYHA, John will set up a meeting.
h.
Steve H. is going to attend the Region 6 meeting on Sept. 25th.
Randy is checking into the MN Leagues for future reference.
i.
We would like to add school grade point averages into the by
laws. It is brought up in the parent managers meeting with the
Bantams. It is required at the High School level and should be
introduced at the bantam level.
