USA Hockey in conjunction with the Wisconsin Hockey Officials Association (WHOA) is pleased to announce that the state of Wisconsin has been selected as the beta test site for national officiating seminar registration for the 2008-09 season. The seminar registration product will be incorporated into standard USA Hockey officiating registration procedures resulting in a one stop registration process for Wisconsin officials. USA Hockey and WHOA have been working closely over the summer to develop this new registration product which is now in its final stages of development and testing.

USA Hockey and WHOA anticipate that this new seminar registration process will begin on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 9:00 AM. USA Hockey and WHOA are asking all officials to be patient with the implementation of this new program.  All officials are eligible to register with USA Hockey starting on August 1st, but may also wish to wait until the seminar registration tool is launched on the 11th in order to take advantage of the one stop registration process.  For further information on the registration process in Wisconsin, please go to the WHOA web site: www.wihoa.org.

Questions regarding this registration process should be directed to the WHOA Referee-in-Chief, Pat Dyer. Pat can be reached at ric@wihoa.org or by calling 218-349-0327. Please do not call or e-mail the USA Hockey office with questions regarding the Wisconsin seminar registration process!
